“You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.” Psalm 115:11, (NASV)
Let my children reflect glory not on themselves but to You because of Your love and faithfulness. Lord God, I pray they will worship no other god except You, casting down all false idols. Instill within them trust in You for You shield and help all those who fear Your Name. Remember them, oh God, and richly increase my children and their children’s storehouses of blessings. Maker of heaven and earth, let my children extol and Praise Your Name now and forever.

“Tremble, earth, before the Lord, before the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of water.” Psalm 114:7, (NASV)
Oh Lord, please go before my children and fight their battles as You did when Israel came out of Egypt. Be their sanctuary and grant them dominion over their enemies just as You rolled back the waters, causing the seas to flee and the Jordan to turn back. Let my children resemble mountains and hills frolicking like sheep in Your presence, oh God. The whole earth quakes before You, God of Jacob, who turned the rock into springs of water. “From the rising of the sun to its setting, the Name of the Lord is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3, (NASV)
Oh Lord, let my children praise You from the rising to the setting of the sun for You are exalted over all the nations. I pray they will worship You, who bends down from the heavens to the earth and who raises the needy from their ashes to sit among princes. May You be praised, Lord God, who blesses the barren woman with offspring. Fill my children’s mouths with Your praises, oh Lord, for You are glorious in the heavens. “…Blessed is the person who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in His commandments.” Psalm 112:1, (NASV)
Let my children praise and revere Your Name, delighting in Your precepts. Grant an upright heart to my children and their descendants so they may receive Your blessings, prosperity, and strength. May they find wealth and riches for You are gracious and compassionate. Oh Lord, let them be generous, lend freely, and conduct their affairs with justice so they will never be shaken. Make their hearts steadfast and secure in You, so they may always trust in You, never fear, and triumph over their foes. I pray You will foster within them a generous heart for the poor and needy. Oh Lord, remember my children for their righteousness and let their dignity be lifted up with honor. “Splendid and majestic is His work, and His righteousness endures forever.” Psalm 111:3, (NASV)
Oh, how I pray my children would ever praise You, oh Lord, extolling Your great works to all. Be gracious and compassionate to my children, oh God. May You provide for their needs and remember Your covenant. Lord, show them the power of Your words as You bless them with a holy inheritance for You are faithful and just. May they trust in Your faithful and upright precepts, oh God, standing firm in their eternal steadfastness. You who are holy and awesome, redeem them and ordain Your covenant forever. Bless them with a holy reverence of You so they may grow in wisdom and insight. Oh Lord, please also bless my children with understanding as You help them faithfully follow Your precepts and acknowledge Your ways. |
