Verses 1-16
“With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me wander from Your commandments.” Psalm 119:10, (NASV) Oh Lord, help my children seek You with all their hearts and walk blamelessly in Your ways. Keep them steadfast with obedience to Your precepts so that they will not be put to shame. How I pray they will learn Your righteous law and praise You with an upright heart all the days of their lives. Do not forsake them, Lord, but keep them pure through the living out of Your Word. Oh Lord, do not let them stray from Your commands but passionately seek after You, hiding Your Word in their hearts. Teach them Your decrees, I plead, so they flow off their lips with great rejoicing. Oh God, make Your statues a delight on which to meditate so my children will not forget Your Word.

“The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.” Psalm 118:14
Dear Lord, fill my children with thanksgiving to You for Your love endures forever. Thank You, God, how no harm can befall my children because You are with them. When they cry out in anguish, free them. Be their refuge and help so they may overcome their adversaries. When they are surrounded, cut their enemies off in Your Name. When they are pushed back and about to fall, hold them for You are their strength and song. Let them shout in joyful victory as You raise Your right hand high in might. Grant them life over death so they may proclaim Your mighty works. Oh Lord, open Your gates of righteousness before them so they may enter and give You thanks. Answer my children, I plead. Be their salvation and let them praise You. Father God, let my children rejoice in the day You have made for You have saved them and granted them favor. I pray You will shine Your light upon them and bless them. Be their God, oh Lord, and may they give You thanks, exalting in Your goodness. “Praise the Lord, all nations; sing His praises, all peoples!” Psalm 117:1, (NASV)
Oh Lord, let my children praise and extol Your name for Your love is great and Your faithfulness endures forever. May praises pour from my children’s mouths so they may join in the song of the Lamb. “I love the Lord because He hears my voice and my pleas. Because HE has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.” Psalm 116:1-2, (NASV)
Dear Lord, I pray my children will love You with all their hearts, minds, soul, and strength. Hear their cries for mercy, oh God. Turn Your ear to them so they may call on You all their days. When they cry out to You, save them from death, trouble, and sorrow. Be gracious and compassionate, oh Lord, as You protect and help them find rest in Your goodness. Deliver their souls from death, wiped their tears, and keep their feet from stumbling so they may walk before You in life. Oh Lord, let their hearts overflow with gratitude and thanksgiving for all Your goodness. Yet may my children lift up the cup of Your salvation and fulfill their vows to You. Free them from their chains, I plead. Make them Your faithful servant all their days for they are precious to You. OH Lord, help my children honor their vows to You with hearts of thanksgiving and praise. |
