“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our wrong doings from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.” Psalm 103:12-13, (NASV)
From their innermost soul, may my children praise Your Name. But let them not forget Your benefits. Forgive their sins, oh Lord, while You also heal and redeem them. Crown them with love and compassion. When they are in need, bless them with all good things. Renew them like eagles, I plead. Yet cover them with Your justice and righteousness, making known Your ways. Be compassionate and gracious to my children, oh God. In the same way, be slow to anger and abounding with Your love. Do not harbor anger against them but let Your love stretch to the heavens, removing their sins as far as the east is to the west. Oh Lord, help my children fear You for though they are like dust, Your mercy endures forever. Lead them to keep Your covenant, I pray, obeying Your Word, and doing Your Will so You may establish Your throne among their children’s descendants. With angels, heavenly hosts, and all Your great works, let my children join in praise to You forever!
