“I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” Psalm 104:33, (NASV)
Fill my children’s souls with praises at Your great majesty and splendor. Unveil their eyes so they may see You wrapped in light, riding on the wings of the wind in Your chariot of dark clouds. Help them come to intimately know You, who set the earth on its foundation and set the boundaries of the waters deep. May You be their living water just as You quench the thirst of the beasts of wild animals or provide rest to the birds by Your open waters. Just as mountains belong to the wild goats, let my children belong to You. In the same manner, foster within them fear and reverence of You for You created the sun and marked the seasons by the moon. Open Your hands, oh God, and meet the needs of my children so they may gather up Your provisions as You satisfy them with good things. Send Your Spirit to renew them for Your glory endures forever. Yet as long as they have breath and being, let my children sing You praises. Oh God my God, may the praises of my children be pleasing unto You.
