“With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord; and I will praise Him in the midst of many. For HE stands at the right hand of the needy, to save them from those who judge his soul.” Psalm 109:30-31, (NASV)
Oh God of my praise, when the wicked speak against my children with hatred and deceit, do not stay silent. Instead, in the face of baseless accusations and unjust attacks, make my children a people of prayer. When their enemies repay good for evil and friendship with hatred, find their adversaries guilty. IN the same way, may You condemn their foe’s prayers, number their days, and remove their leadership as You reap everlasting judgement upon them. Deal well with my children, oh Savior Lord, and deliver them out of the goodness of Your love. When their hearts are wounded, and they are poor and needy, help them and save them by the strength of Your hand. When accusers curse, bless my children. When enemies attack, put the wicked to shame. Yet fill my children with thanksgiving and praise because You are able to save them from those who condemn and judge.
