Psalm 66
“Bless our God, you peoples, and sound His praise abroad, who keeps us in life, and does not allow our feet to slip.” Psalm 66:8-9, (NASV) Fill my children with joyful shouts to Your Name and songs of Your glory. Make real to them Your awesome deeds and great power. Oh Lord, may they bow down and sing praises to You. I pray You will open their eyes to witness Your awesome wonders and the mighty works of Your hands. Let them rejoice in Your power and loudly proclaim Your praises. As You test them, refine them like silver and preserve them with feet which do not slip. Oh Lord, free them from the nets, lift off the burdens, and bring them through the fire into a place of Your great abundance. When You have delivered them, may my children not forget to fulfill the vows which they uttered in their times of need. But let them bring sacrifices of praise and tell of all You have done. Purge them of sin, I plead, and do not reject them. Withhold not Your love but listen to their cries. Hear the prayers of my children, oh God.
