“…may the heart of those who seek the Lord be joyful. Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually.” Psalm 105:3-4, (NASV)
Let my children give thanks to You, oh God, as they call upon Your name, making known Your wonderful deeds. I pray they will look to You in Your strength and always seek after You for You are the Lord, their God and Judge over the whole earth. Remember Your covenants, oh Lord. Anoint my children, I pray while You also protect them from harm. May Your Word prove them true like Joseph. OH God, grant them an inheritance, instruct them with Your teaching, and bless them with Your wisdom. Yet make them fruitful and bless them with many generations of children. In the same way, cover them with Your light, illuminating their darkness. Bring my children out of the wilderness with shouts of joy into Your promised land so they may keep Your precepts and follow Your Ways.

“I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” Psalm 104:33, (NASV)
Fill my children’s souls with praises at Your great majesty and splendor. Unveil their eyes so they may see You wrapped in light, riding on the wings of the wind in Your chariot of dark clouds. Help them come to intimately know You, who set the earth on its foundation and set the boundaries of the waters deep. May You be their living water just as You quench the thirst of the beasts of wild animals or provide rest to the birds by Your open waters. Just as mountains belong to the wild goats, let my children belong to You. In the same manner, foster within them fear and reverence of You for You created the sun and marked the seasons by the moon. Open Your hands, oh God, and meet the needs of my children so they may gather up Your provisions as You satisfy them with good things. Send Your Spirit to renew them for Your glory endures forever. Yet as long as they have breath and being, let my children sing You praises. Oh God my God, may the praises of my children be pleasing unto You. “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our wrong doings from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.” Psalm 103:12-13, (NASV)
From their innermost soul, may my children praise Your Name. But let them not forget Your benefits. Forgive their sins, oh Lord, while You also heal and redeem them. Crown them with love and compassion. When they are in need, bless them with all good things. Renew them like eagles, I plead. Yet cover them with Your justice and righteousness, making known Your ways. Be compassionate and gracious to my children, oh God. In the same way, be slow to anger and abounding with Your love. Do not harbor anger against them but let Your love stretch to the heavens, removing their sins as far as the east is to the west. Oh Lord, help my children fear You for though they are like dust, Your mercy endures forever. Lead them to keep Your covenant, I pray, obeying Your Word, and doing Your Will so You may establish Your throne among their children’s descendants. With angels, heavenly hosts, and all Your great works, let my children join in praise to You forever! Hear my prayer, Lord! And let my cry for help come to You. DO not hide Your face from me on the day of my distress; incline Your ear to me; on the day when I call answer me quickly.” Psalm 102:1-2, (NASV)
Hear the prayer of my children’s heart, oh God. When they call, turn Your ear to them. Do not hide Your face but answer quickly for they wither and fail. When their enemies taunt and tears fall, show not. Your wrath but arise and have compassion. Oh Lord, bless my children with favor and find them precious. Yet, listen to their pleas and answer with kindness. I pray You will grant my children a holy inheritance of generations to come who will praise Your Name. Look down from Your sanctuary, oh God, to hear their groans and set them free. You, who are unchanging and never ending, establish my children and their descendants before You in Your presence forever. “My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me…” Psalm 101:6, (NASV)
To You, Lord, may my children sing praises of Your mercy and justice. Make their ways blameless, I plead, helping them walk with integrity and truth. May they never fall away nor let perversity cling to their hearts. But may they know no evil. Keep them from slander, arrogance, deceit, and lies. Instead, may they serve You with faithful and pure hearts so they may dwell with You. Destroy the wicked, oh God, and remove all injustice. “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and HIs courtyards with praise…” Psalm 100:4, (NASV)
Let my children shout joyfully to You. With gladness and joy, help them know You are God. May they enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. Be faithful to my children, oh Lord, extending Your love from generation to generation. “Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His footstool; holy is He.” Psalm 99:5, (NASV)
Oh Father, let my children bow before You for You reign. As the nation’s tremble and the earth shakes, let them exalt Your greatness, praising Your awesome Name. Likewise, may they worship at Your footstool for You are holy. Lord God, do what is right by my children for You are our mighty King and a lover of justice. When they call for You, answer and speak to them. Yet forgive their sins, I pray, and avenge them from those who have wronged them. Lord my God, may my children exalt and worship You for You are holy. “May the rivers clap their hands, may the mountains sing together for joy before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth…” Psalm 98:8-9, (NASV)
Let my children sing to You a new song for the marvelous things You have done. Make known to them Your salvation as You reveal to them Your righteousness, forgetting not Your love and faithfulness to them. I pray You will fill them with joyful shouts and jubilant songs of music before You, oh Lord, the King. May my children join with the voices of the sea, the whole world, the clapping rivers, and the mountains with their songs of praise to You. You, who are judge of all the earth and its people, be kind to my children, oh God, and judge them with righteousness and equity. “Light is sown like seed for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.” Psalm 97:11, (NASV)
Lord God, fill my children’s hearts with rejoicing because You reign with righteousness and justice as Your foundation. Go before them with fire and consume their enemies, making the earth tremble and the mountains melt like wax. In the same way, give them ears to hear the heavens proclaim Your righteousness and eyes to see Your glory. Cast down all idols and be first in their lives for You are the Most High over all the earth and exalted above all other gods. Consider my children faithful, I pray. Guard their lives and deliver them from the wicked. But make their hearts upright before YOU, oh God, so they may overflow with joy and light. Lord Most High, let my children rejoice and praise Your Holy Name. “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” Psalm 96:1, (NASV)
Let my children sing to You a new song and bless Your Name. Daily, may they proclaim Your salvation, declaring Your glory and marvelous deeds to the nations. Be first in their lives, oh God, casting down all idols for You are great and worthy to be praised. May they ascribe glory and strength to You who created the heavens with Your splendor and majesty. Oh God, I pray they will worship and tremble before Your holiness for You reign over all the earth, judging each one with equity. Let them join with the heavens with its rejoicing, the earth with its gladness, the sea as it resounds, the fields with its jubilation, and the trees with their joy as they sing before You, our coming King. |
