“For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation.” Psalm 149:4, (NASV)
Oh Lord, fill my children’s lips with a new song of praise to You. In their Maker, let them gladly rejoice. With dance, song, and musical instruments, may they praise Your Name. Yet make their hearts humble so they may be a delight to You and crowned with salvation. From their rising to their sleep, overflow them with rejoicing. In the same way, may their mouths be filled with Your high praises while their hands grip the double-edged sword to wage war against the wicked.
