Oh Lord, may my children commit their plans to You. Help them find success for You work all things out to Your end. I pray they will not be prideful but fear You. In turn, cover them by Your atoning love and faithfulness. May they be pleasing unto You, oh God, even living peacefully among their enemies. Determine their steps and plot their course as You fill their lips with justice and truth. In the same way, I pray You will establish them through righteousness. Shine Your favor upon them, oh God, blessing them with life and wisdom. Oh Lord, may they choose understanding over silver and wisdom over gold, avoiding evil and guarding their ways. Set them upon the highway of uprightness while You keep them from pride and a haughty spirit. Oh Father, I plead they will prosper from wise council and be blessed through their trust in You. Yet give them understanding as their fountain of life, wise words to guide their mouths, and lips which promote instruction. IN the same way, make their words pleasant as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones as You protect them from scoundrels, perverse men, gossips, and violent people. OH Lord, may You bless the length of their days with a crown of honor through righteousness, patience, and self-control, casting every decision before You.

OH holy God, I pray You will Give my children a gentle tongue so anger will be turned away. Instead, bless them with wise words which heal and possess knowledge. Help them heed correction so their homes will be blessed with treasures overflowing in wisdom, knowledge, and prayer. But let them pursue righteousness and seek knowledge with a happy heart. May You bless them with patience, fill them with a deep reverence of You, and open doors for them while You make straight their paths. Oh Lord, make their hearts blameless before You. Ground them in good judgement and wise understanding. I plead You will surround them with many wise advisers so their plans may find success. In turn, lead them upward to the path of Life, oh God. Yet build my children’s house, keeping it intact. Find them pleasing to You, dear Lord, and draw near to hear their prayers. IN the same way, help my children listen to lifegiving rebukes, receive joy, and heed correction so You may teach them wisdom and humility from a reverent awe in You.

“IN the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, by which one may avoid the snares of death.” Proverbs 14:26-27, (NASV)
 
Oh Lord, may my children become spouses who build their homes with wisdom. Make them upright people whose wise lips shield them and whose strength reaps an abundant harvest. In the same way, let them testify truthfully without deceit so they may flourish and consider their steps with prudence. Crown them in knowledge and let them fear You while You also help them shun evil and be kind to the needy. Yet fill them with love and faithfulness towards others, oh God, so they may save others through their truthfulness. Give them ears to hear, I pray. Be their secure fortress and refuge as a fountain of life. In turn, help them gain understanding through patience and life through peaceful hearts. I pray my children will honor You by showing kindness to the needy for You are a refuge for the righteous. Likewise, may You look favorably upon my children and let wisdom govern their actions.

Oh Lord, as a parent, help my children listen to my words of instruction. Likewise, may You also guard the words they speak. Instill within them a diligent and satisfying work ethic which prospers and undergirds them with truthfulness and integrity. Oh Lord, I pray riches will not ransom their lives. But let righteousness shine brightly in them through their humility and acceptance of counsel. Father God, please give them wisdom with their finances while they learn to respect the commands of others. Reward them with the fountain of life, I plead. Bless them with good understanding which wins favor and reflects prudence. In the same way, make them heed correction while You surround them with wise company, rewarding them with prosperity and righteousness. I pray they will leave an eternal inheritance for their children’s children which transcends generations and lasts throughout the span of time. In turn, please bless me with wisdom and understanding in parenting while You help me use tender discipline to show my children love.

Bless my children with love of discipline which is accompanied by love of knowledge. Oh Lord, I plead You will bestow favor upon them and root them firmly in You. Make their plans just, oh God. Rescue them, I plead, overthrowing their enemies and aiding them to stand firm in Your house. May they be praised for their wisdom and known for their care of others. In the same way, bless them with good judgement and provision from diligent work. Yet help them listen to advice as they bear truthful testimony, using their words as healing balm. Fill them with joy, oh Lord as You protect them from harm and give them discernment when to stay silent. In turn, I pray they will be blessed with diligent hearts overflowing with kindness and life everlasting through Your righteousness.

​“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and one who is wise gains souls.” Proverbs 11:30, (NASV)

OH Lord, may my children abhor dishonest measures but seek after honest gain with humble and wise hearts. Keep them from pride, I pray, while You let integrity guide them and righteousness deliver them from death. Through knowledge, destroy their enemies and rescue them from trouble. Instead, let them prosper with upright lives before You. Exalt them, oh God, as You form them to be kind and understanding children who know when to be silent. In turn, teach them to be trustworthy in keeping confidences without gossip or slander. Oh Lord, I plead You will surround them with many wise advisors so they may be victorious and attain life. Find them blameless and look on them with delight as You use righteousness to set them free. OH Lord, may You bless my children with abundant generosity in heart, spirit, and deeds. Allow them to reap rewards of prosperity and good will without trusting in riches. In the same way, I pray they will bear fruit from the tree of life and inherit their due reward.

Oh Lord, help me know the joy which wise children bring their mothers and fathers. I plead my children will not let foolishness overtake them with ill-gotten gain. But may they be blessed with crowns of righteousness while their memories be made sweet and lasting through diligent and wise work. Oh Lord, make their hearts wise, ready to receive command so disaster may be averted. Create them to be children of integrity, I plead, who are devoid of chatter and grounded in their steps. May You make their mouths fountains of life without hatred or violence but with love which covers all things. Dear Lord, store wisdom in their hearts, and let it overflow with good judgement as choice silver and nourishment. In the same way, teach them to hold their tongues and to heed discipline. Yet bless my children and fulfill their righteous desires, oh God, bringing them wealth and understanding which delights in wisdom. Oh Lord, help my children forever stand firm through the storms, granting them joy with You as their refuge and never being uprooted. With fitting and appropriate words, may wisdom flow from my children’s mouths, I pray.

Help my children reside in the house which wisdom built, leaving behind sinful ways so they may walk in Your understanding. Oh Lord, instruct them deeper in Your wisdom so they may continue to grow in the fear and understanding of You. In turn, lengthen their days, I plead, while You let wisdom reward their lives. Oh God, bless my children with good judgement and keep them away from the destructive path of folly.

Let my children hear wisdom’s call and the voice of understanding. In turn, help them heed prudence and wisdom, speaking only words which are right, true, and just. I pray they will choose Your instruction and knowledge over silver and gold. Likewise, may they also treasure wisdom above jewels, desiring it above all other things. Bless them, oh God, with knowledge and discretion mixed with wisdom and prudence. Yet, let them loathe evil, pride, arrogance, wicked behavior, and perverse speech. Instead, grant them council and sound judgement with wisdom and power. Oh Lord, when they seek You, let them find You. With Your riches and honor, bless them with enduring wealth and righteousness for Your fruit is finer than gold and yields more than silver. I plead with You, oh Lord, may they walk in the way of righteousness along paths of justice. Bestow upon my children wealth, oh God, and make their treasuries full.

​Oh Lord, fashion and appoint my children after You, who made the heavens, secured the fountains of the deep, and set the boundaries between the land and sea, marking out the foundations of the earth. Fill them with delight every day and let them rejoice in Your presence. Yet help them keep Your ways and listen to Your instructions so they may receive Your blessings of wisdom. In the same way, may my children wait daily at Your door and watch for You so they may find life and receive favor.

Oh Lord, keep Your commandments stored in my children’s hearts so they may live by Your ways. May they guard Your teachings as the apple of their eye, writing them on their hearts and binding them on their fingers. In the same way, make wisdom and understanding a close relative, keeping them away from lust, seduction, and adultery. Ground them deep in good judgement while You grant them wisdom and strength to flee temptation. Yet do not let them stray or turn aside so they do not descend to death.
