Wow! What a day! I was incredibly blessed today to be in a recording studio. Some of you may already know, but God opened the door for me to begin recording a music album which uses music to teach children Scripture. It has been a fun and wild adventure. It humbles me to see how God would allow this everyday mom to reach little souls for Christ. Teaching Scripture to our children, even as early as infancy, plays a vital role in teaching our kids wisdom and equipping them for every good work. A Prayer Over Our Children

Oh Lord, let my child see, hear, and touch Your Word of Life that she may boldly proclaim to all people that You are Light. Make her joy complete, oh God, and draw her close to You in intimate communion. OH Father, I pray that You will surround her not with darkness but let her walk in the Light as You are in the Light so that she may know fellowship one with another. Foster within my child a heart of repentance, oh God, so she may confess her sins and be purified by Your blood from all unrighteousness. Be faithful to my child, oh God, I pray.

Oh Lord, protect my daughter from heresies and false teachings. I pray that You will keep her faithful to Your truths and grant her discernment. Oh God, have mercy upon her and spare her, condemning her not, but protecting and rescuing her from trials. Shield her from corrupt and blaspheming men, dear Lord, that she may be kept from sinful desires of the flesh. I plead that You will guard her against the seduction of the world and that You will keep her on the straight and narrow path. Open her eyes, oh God, so that she may not be enticed by the lustful desires of men. Instead, make man’s depravity and corrupted ways detestable to her. How I pray that she will never turn her back against You or Your sacred commandments. Dear Lord, let my daughter possess faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, and perseverance with increasing measure. Likewise, let her grow with godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. Clothe her in these qualities so that she will be made effective and productive in her knowledge of You. Cleanse her from her sin, oh God, and make her calling sure. May she never fall and may You richly welcome her into Your kingdom. Remind her of these truths, oh God, and firmly establish her in them. I pray my daughter will submit to her husband and be an example of Christ through her words, behavior, thoughts, and actions. May You manifest all purity and reverence in her life, oh God, making her inner self the source of her beauty. Help her gentle and quiet spirit be her adornment rather than fashionable hair, clothes, or jewelry. Oh Lord, I pray that You will bless my daughter with a beautiful relationship of trust, submission, and respect to her husband. Likewise, may her husband treat her with all love, consideration, mutual respect, and as a precious heir to Your gift of life. Oh God, be her joy and her strength that she may never give into fear and do what is right all the days of her life. ...
