“Offer God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay Your vows to the Most High; call upon me on the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you will honor me.” Psalm 50:14-15, (NASV)
Speak, and call my children to You, oh God. Let them behold You in glorious, shining Light as You summon the earth and the heavens to judge them. Consecrate and gather them to Yourself. May they proclaim Your righteousness with the heavens and hear the testimony of Your lips. Help them fulfill their vows to You and bring You offerings of thanksgiving and joy. Deliver them, oh God, when they call to You so they may honor and bow down before You. Make them lovers of Your Word and use their mouths for Your good, filling it with all truth. Remember my children, oh God, and set their feet on the path of Your salvation.

“My mouth will speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart will be understanding.” Psalm 49:3, (NASV)
Lord God, give my children ears to listen so wisdom may flow from their mouths and understanding may spring from their hearts. Let them not fear when the wicked surround them and evil days come. Yet keep them from perishing and away from the grave, oh God, but redeem them, drawing them to Yourself. Protect them from envying riches and splendors for without understanding, they will perish like the beasts of the fields. Instead, give my children Your Light of Life, oh God, granting them eternity with You. “As is Your Name, God, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness. Mount Zion shall be glad, the daughters of Judah shall rejoice because of Your judgements.” Psalm 48:10-11, (NASV)
Most worthy Lord, may my children proclaim Your greatness and sing of Your praises. Shine Your beauty and brightness in their lives as You surround them as a mighty Fortress. Cause their enemies to flee and tremble. Oh God, let my children reside in Your holy city forever, secured and loved by You. May they meditate upon Your unfailing love while they worship You, whose praises reaches to the ends of the earth and whose right hand is filled with righteousness. Overflow them with rejoicing and gladness because of Your justice, I pray, so they may tell of Your Name to all generations. Be their God, oh Lord, forever and ever, leading them to the end of their days. “Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with a voice of joy. For the Lord Most High is to be feared, the great King over all the earth.” Psalm 47:1-2, (NASV)
Oh Lord Most High, let my children worship You with clapping hands and joyful shouts. For You are the King over all the earth. Choose for them the prize of Jacob as their inheritance and subdue nations under their feet. May they sing Your Psalm of praise with joy as You ascend to Your holy hill. Fill their mouth with Your exaltations and praises for You rule over the kings of the earth and are seated in Your holy throne. I pray my children will praise Your Name forever. “Stop striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.” Psalm 46:10, (NASV)
Oh Lord, be my children’s refuge and strength, an ever-present Help. Though the ground may shake, the mountains fall, and the ocean roars, keep my children from fear. Instead, fill them with overflowing rivers of joy. BE in their midst, I pray, keeping their feet firm and helping them rise. Be with them, oh Lord of armies, and be their Fortress. Let them see Your great works for You make war cease by breaking the bow, shattering the spear, and burning shields with fire. In the same way, teach my children to be still and to know You are God. Likewise, let them exalt You, oh God, among the nations and over the earth. Be with my children, God of Jacob, and be their stronghold. |
