“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy above your companions.” Psalm 45:7, (NASV) Oh God, bless my children with an outpouring of Your grace. Gird them for victory in the fight as champions for Your truth, humility, and righteousness. Teach them Your marvelous works by the strength of Your right hand as YOU pierce the hearts of their enemies and make the wicked fall. I pray You will give them victory and establish Your throne in their hearts forever, instilling within them love for righteousness and hate for wickedness. Set them above their peers, I plead, and anoint them with the oil of joy. May my children honor You all the days of their lives, seeking You with all their hearts. IN the same way, grant them favor, oh Lord, while You make their beauty shine from the inside out. Welcome my children with joy and gladness into Your presence, Lord God. Here, may my children remain with You, praising Your Name forever.

Open their ears to learn of Your great faithfulness and the might of Your right hand. Be their King and their God. Through Your Name, win victories for them, push back enemies, and trample their foes. From morning to night, may they boast in You, praising Your Name forever. Help them to trust You with steps which do not falter from Your path. Oh Lord, do not humiliate or reject them. Neither let their enemies reproach nor scorn them. Instead, awake, Lord, and do not sleep. Rise and remember my children. When their bodies are brought down to the dust and cling to the ground, rise and redeem them, oh God.  “Send out Your light and Your truth, they shall lead me; they shall bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling places.” Psalm 43:3 (NASV) Almighty God, vindicate my children and rescue them from deceitful men. Be their God and stronghold. Do not reject them, I plead, but let your Light and truth bring them to Your holy mountain. Let them come before Your altar with joy and delight, praising with musical instruments. When they are downcast and feeling distressed, help them place their Hope in You and praise You. When they are downcast, let them remember Your faithfulness to Your people throughout the ages. Oh Lord, let Your deep call out to deep within my children through the roar of Your waterfall. In the same way, sweep Your love over them by day and break Your song over them by night. Do not forget them or allow enemies to oppress them. When their foes hurl taunts against You and their aching bones cry out in agonized protest, let them not grow downcast or distressed but let them put their Hope in You, praising Your Holy Name.  |
