Psalm 45

“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy above your companions.” Psalm 45:7, (NASV)
 
Oh God, bless my children with an outpouring of Your grace. Gird them for victory in the fight as champions for Your truth, humility, and righteousness. Teach them Your marvelous works by the strength of Your right hand as YOU pierce the hearts of their enemies and make the wicked fall. I pray You will give them victory and establish Your throne in their hearts forever, instilling within them love for righteousness and hate for wickedness. Set them above their peers, I plead, and anoint them with the oil of joy. May my children honor You all the days of their lives, seeking You with all their hearts. IN the same way, grant them favor, oh Lord, while You make their beauty shine from the inside out. Welcome my children with joy and gladness into Your presence, Lord God. Here, may my children remain with You, praising Your Name forever.
