“Yet You brought me out of the womb; You made me trust in You, even at my mother’s breast. From birth I was cast on You; from my mother’s womb You have been my God.” Psalm 22:9-10
Lord my God, do not forsake my children nor turn Your head away from their groanings. Answer their cries and do not remain silent. Deliver them, oh God, and help them to trust You, for You are Holy and enthroned on High. Save them when they are scorned and mocked by men. Rescue them, oh God, and find them a delight in Your eyes. I pray You will know my children from the womb. Be their God from their birth to last breath. Keep near them, oh god, and come quickly to their aid. When they are surrounded by roaring lions or when they are weak and faint, hear them. Let my children declare Your Name to all people and praise Your Name to the congregation. In the same way, may they fear, honor and revere You. Hide not Your face but listen to their cries. Help them seek and praise You, OH God. May they worship and kneel before You, proclaiming Your righteousness to all generations and to a people who is yet unborn. Praise You for rescuing us from our sins and given us eternal life.
