Psalm 31

“Be strong and take heart, all You who hope in the Lord.” Psalm 31:24
 
Oh God, be my children’s refuge. Turn and come quickly as their rock and fortress. I pray You will lead them away from the enemy’s snares, redeeming them by Your truth. May they trust You and rejoice in Your love. When they are distressed, afflicted, and weak, be merciful to them. When the wicked pursue and conspire against the, be their God. Shine Your face upon them, oh Lord, and save them with Your unfailing love. Put my children not to shame, I pray but hear their cries. In the same way, silence the wicked as You shelter my children with Your presence and keep them safe. Hide them, oh God, and instill within them reverent awe of You so they may know the storehouses of Your rich abundance. When they call out for help, hear their cries for mercy. Preserve them, oh God, and find them faithful. Strengthen and encourage my children with Your hope, I pray.
