“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1 (NASV)
May Your praises fill my children’s mouths at all times. Fill their souls with boasting in You, exalting Your name. When my children seek You, answer and rescue them from their fears. Out of their wretchedness, I pray You will hear and save them. Encamp about them, oh Lord, and be their refuge. How I pray their tongues will taste and their eyes will see Your goodness. In the same manner, let them seek and find You. Teach them to fear You, oh Lord, while You keep their tongues from evil and their lips from deceit. Turn my children away from evil, I pray, doing good and pursuing peace instead. Hear and rescue my children, oh God, giving ear to their broken heartedness and saving their crushed spirits. Protect my children, I plead, while You redeem their souls. Be my children’s refuge.
